I can sure attest to the longevity of those slide systems. My good friends bought a 14 year old unit and it had those slide on it. They worked perfectly.

Thank you for the light weight review - a lot of us have 1/2 tons.

Pretty happy with our Apex Nano 208BHS. Just came from the Hershey RV show, really like the coachman offerings.

Thank you for posting a video about this subject . I've been saying for years how in the RV Industry the manufacturers mislead customers on what they can realistically tow with a half ton . I can't believe there are people out there who still think half ton trucks and fifth wheel trailers go together safely

I had to look outside, it sounded like it was raining here lol (the rain hitting the slide roof).

Great video. Just wish the person here in Minnesota would watch this. They are pulling a trailer about this size with a Dodge Caravan .

We love our Lance 1685. Camped in it all summer without issues. Thanks for the videos Bro!👍🏻. I’d recommend the Goodyear Endurance tires.

Great video what a lot of people should figure out 6000 lbs trailer, 6000 lbs truck, people and your extras about almost 1000 on top of that. Your at 13000. That's a lot on a 1/2 ton truck. Just cause your truck can pull it but you need to hold it also. A riding lawn mower can pull it. Just saying.

Very nice unit and great video. It's too bad more manufacturers won't use Azdel. I'd feel better knowing a lower priced unit has Azdel vs. lujon.

I agree with your weight assessment. Our trailer is about the same size & weight pulled by a Ram 1500 and while it could pull more its a comfortable weight.

As a former service technician on RVs, yes the trailer shower can have a person who is 6'5" fit in it. Not too comfortably, but I fit LOL!

    New subscriber here, great video!
I have a 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche with the 5.3, HD towing package, with 8100 lbs max towing capacity. What would you say would be a safe weight for a travel trailer?
