your sister did a v ery good job with practical sets, I assume that the greenscreens weren't set up by her. Unfortunately the rest of the film kind of sucked

    Are u sure....😂😂😂

Fun fact: This film made Ava DuVernay the first African-American woman to direct a film with a $100 million+ budget. She's also only the 3rd woman overall to achieve this feat, after Kathryn Bigelow (for K-19: THE WIDOWMAKER (2002)) and Patty Jenkins (for WONDER WOMAN (2017)).

It reminds me of Oz the Great and Powerful in terms of the aesthetics, which l like. The story itself seems like it might have worked better as an 6-8 episode miniseries like Stranger Things.

Solomon Dow same. Especially the trailer song gave me Oz the Great and Powerful

My first thought was, this is some major illuminaiti stuff. Yet I like OZ so maybe I can think of it like that.

This could've been a Netflix series

  • Penny C 1 years ago

It still can be. If the movie doesn't make it Netflix might remake to the original story line. L'Engle wrote an amazing story which is why it won so many awards.

The book was fascinating when I was Meg's age and I'm very excited for this movie. I trust Ava DuVernay and I love the casting and so far I'm getting the good part of the 2010 Alice in Wonderland movie vibes.

Anyone who thinks Oprah is TV-only or can't act had better watch The Color Purple.

amillerinADKs Reese Witherspoon is most known for film roles like Legally Blonde, Vanity Fair, Sweet Home Alabama- but Grace was referring to what current audiences are associating these actors/actresses for, namely, TV. Certainly that is true of Oprah and Mindy.

I strongly disagree with the tv comment. I saw a ton of beautiful cinematic shots in that trailer. Like the orange room Chris Pine is in for example.

Grace is looking more like Charlize Theron in Atomic Blonde in each video XD

  • Jeremy Haller 1 years ago

hahahaha yeah right. all she's getting is more and more obnoxious.

  • Rob M Grace is the real life Atomic Blonde! 💛💛💛
