The media wants her to give a controversial comment but she isn't falling for the bait

@Nate Jewels Nate, yes I would. I would say it to anyone whether they are TRUMP who btw often does name calling, the famous athletes, actors, musicians, a 7 year old child, high schoolers, elderly person... I mean anyone! My belief & the message are the same for anyone. Just because someone else is doing something wrong, that doesn't make it okay to do the same to that person. You may want to do it but if you DON'T like what the person is doing to others, you should NOT do the same thing to th...

This girl is naturally humble. She doesn’t even need to try. I hope she stays grounded. A Good character that needs to be guarded.

What fame?! Everybody is only talking about Serena and if they are talking about Naomi, its asking about the controversy. Not about her. She got screwed horrendously and the crowd encouraged childish behavior in a FINALS GAME! Was never a fan of Tennis, but I expected all sports to have their talent carry respect with them and showcase their sport in a positive light. Tennis (at least women's tennis) has no honor or prestige in it for me. A shameful sport all ruined by one person. A shame indeed.

This was the worst interview! WHAT DOES SERENA SMELL LIKE!??!? SERENA, SERENA! All of Osaka's photos of her winning have Serena in them.

  • Joel Erickson 3 months ago

Sophia E it’s a shame that her victory is still about Serena.

@Randal Collins no one cheated she tried to call bs and the ump was having none of it, he's a legend who stuck by the book.

These hosts are a joke they didn't even research her! She's played Serena before but they thought it was the first time!! Bad hosts!!

  • Shayneby Shaynebi 8 months ago

Bulletproofcammy Most of these media people care about is use her to draw traffic and possibly make her say something controversial, which would bring more traffic to their network, which is the reason why they couldn't even research their special guest in her area of expertise for the interview or her history with the person she played with (Serena). That's not their focus. It's such a shame. I'm glad she won. Well deserve!

  • wonkyu lee 9 months ago

Bulletproofcammy im sure they didnt even bother to research about naomi but just invited her here to lure her to say things against serena so they can publish that on paper

  • DennygirlJO 9 months ago

So pure and innocent. Now she's got to start a life of dealing with the ugliness of fame. Ugh. Such a sweet girl!

As a Blasian (Japanese/Malawian) Who grew up in competitive, Sports I myself was one of the many who came to See Serena retire at her 24 Slam ... People came from so many nations ... High raking people ... Osaka has Nothing to do with this Hopefully she will achieve her athletic Endeavors! But We came to see a legend retire and we were duped.... My husband and I I live in Kyoto...... You’ve got to be Phenomenal to Draw a crowd like that day Do you know how many nationalities were ...
