Honestly, in the original I felt like Belle was too much of a sweetheart and graceful lady to be an outcast! Here, Emma's attitude looks more awkward and disinterested which suits Belle being an outcast. Just my opinion.

Those poor children spent hours hand washing that linen, and there goes Belle, trying to walk all over them with her dirty boots. FEED HER TO THE BEAST!

Imagine leaving your house and the whole town just starts singing/talking shit about you as you walk by. Tough place. Chin up Belle!

This feels so emotionless compared to the original. Just compare them sung line by line.

The moment when Emma Watson had begun singing, i was absolutely surprised and at the same time, i was completely agreed that she was the rightful choice to portray the main character. I have to say that she is going to be fantastic.

I saw the movie yesterday and I still can't get over how good it was!!! I've been watching these clips over and over again the whole day and I just can't understand how anyone could dislike it. Beauty and the Beast has been one of my favorite Disney movies since I was 5 and this didn't disappoint me at all!

People can't get over her accent forgetting that the lyric ion the song "Ev'ry morning just the same, Since the morning that we came, To this poor provincial town.." Meaning, she was never born in that town, she and her father came from else where. That is why they don't have nor require or NEED french accents, because they can be from anywhere.

I feel so sad about all of you people complaining. It must be horrible that you want to love something but you just can't. All the rest of us will be so happy at the movie theater, singing, crying, smiling, having a BLAST, while the rest of you are at home still complaining about it. It must be such a hard life. I'll be happy for all of you and enjoy every second of it. kisses

Am I the only one who screamed when it ended? So short. I was totally getting into it. So excited to watch this movie. I love Emma as Belle :)

Spoiler warning, but the man who says "I believe I have [lost something], problem is, I can't remember what," is Mr. Potts. He can't remember Mrs. Potts and Chip because in the live action adaptation, part of the spell that cursed the castle is no one will remember its inhabitants or its existence. It's really sad to think about the fact that the Potts family was separated by this, and Mr. Potts can't even remember his family.

Visuals are fine, but Emma Watson's vibe thus far is more of a Hermione Granger duplicate than Belle herself. Also, the singing sounds less lively, and Emma's voice seems to have been autotuned.
