Does anyone else CRINGE every time the narrator says “Fe-E-ary” instead of “Feb-U-ary”?

"Behind the scenes, he was called an egotistical genius." Behind the scenes? He was publicly a complete egotistical thief. He had an ongoing feud with Tesla and Westington, killing animals with Alternating Current just to discredit them.

It should be known before i say anything that I LOATHE Thomas Edison. He was a fraud and a con man.
I'm a minute and a half into the episode, and I am already half-convinced that Edison caused Le Prince's disappearance.

Since Louis had financial issues, as stated, couldn't another theory be that he borrowed alot of money from people, maybe shady characters? And he didn't pay on time or kept telling them to hold out a little longer and he would be able to repay the loan in due time, and maybe when they came asking, before he leaves for the US, he tells them he doesnt have any money they then take him out?

Thomas Edison has always been one of those American legends that I fucking hate! He was nothing but a thief, he's also credited with inventing the phone but that was a patent stolen from an Italian man named Antonio Meucci.

    Thomas Edison....
Was the sort of person who would try to discredit Tesla's alternating current by using it to power an execution device.

Now if anytime if a teacher says "Thomas Edison invented the moving picture" I will raise my hand and yell "No, it was Louis Le Prince."
