Through one girl’s transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing one’s individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one’s own light. Produced by Jim Whitaker and Catherine Hand with Doug Merrifield serving as executive producer, the film also boasts an impressive creative team featuring some of the most talented artisans working today, including: Tobias Schliessler, ASC as director of photography, Naomi Shohan as production designer, Oscar(R)-nominee Spencer Averick as film editor, two-time Academy Award(R)-nominee Paco Delgado as costume designer and four time Emmy(R) nominee Ramin Djawadi as composer.

Only here because I'm a white guy and heard Brie Larson say this movie wasn't made for me. She's totally right. I don't think it's made for my kids either.

A forcefully diverse movie that wishes to be labelled progressive
    Also in the movie:
    -Oprah in halloween drag
    -a flying cabbage
-jordan peele as a small black girl
    -a generic handsome tween
    - a gay hispanic boy
And mediocre comdienne tring to pass as googles quotes generator
Paired with the most cliched plot
    The comedy literally writes itself

The problem with today’s media and society is that we are enforcing diversity instead of treating it naturally, equally, or traditionally.

I'm a black male and this movie was trash. IDK why Brie had to bring race and gender into this. There's no such thing as saying "this movie wasn't meant for this specific race". I can assure you even if there weren't whites reviewing this movie it would still do terrible.

I saw this last night, very underwhelming. I thought it would be more 'magical' and was waiting throughout for something amazing to happen. For a big budget movie, it was a let down. I give it a 4 out of 10.

It looked amazing. Did not see it in theaters but I did buy it on DVD and Blu-ray, worse mistake of my life.
