"Elon almost lost his job" ... lol the vote was a landslide in his favor. I was at the meeting and happen to be the first question you showed a clip of (and took way out of context). This whole vid is cherry picking facts to fit your bearish narrative. Not representative of the event at all. Tesla is changing the world and tackling humanity's hardest and most pressing problems (sustainable transport & energy). I couldn't be more proud to be a shareholder. Go Tesla.

Such false reporting by the Verge. “Almost lost chairmanship”...lol, there was a unanimous vote to keep him chairman.

I love how the verge is digging itself a hole doing the exact things that Elon tweeted about media companies

And with this video alone, the verge have just lost their credibility. The chairmanship was unanimously agreed to keep Musk. I suggest do some research and don't over dramatize it.

So many false statements in this video, I could be the first one to criticize Tesla for some of their decisions, but inventing some false news ("Almost lost chairmanship" when one shareholder propose this vote and that the vote was unanimously rejected). I'm going to go get my news elsewhere.

I watch the whole meeting, I don't see any questions or answers stating tesla is in trouble, Verge you gotta be neutral if you need people's trust on you.

Almost lost his chairmanship??? Are you kidding me? Those motions all failed by an overwhelming supermajority. There’s a whole lot of editorializing going on here.

Highly suggest people go and watch the Shareholder video and draw their own conclusions. This report is not accurate.

Really disappointed with the fact checking and investigation this video should have had. You can do better Verge.

This is not a balanced news report. If you only report on the bad, then Elon was correct in saying the media is biased. You just proved his point.

Complete trash from Verge, CNBC, Bloomberg... I lost all respect for these publications as they seem to be on a mission to destroy Tesla.

Yeah, sure. Did we watch the same shareholder meeting?
Almost lost his chairmanship? You kidding?
EDIT: TSLA stock is up nearly +6% the next day after the shareholder meeting.
EDIT2: Verge changed the video title from "And Elon Musk is making it worse" to "annual shareholder meeting". Without any change log in the description.

This feels extremely biased, with a lot of cherrypicking. He didn't almost lose his chairmanship. And while it is sad that there has been one fatal accident involving a Tesla recently, have you compared that to the death toll for regular vehicles? How is that any safer?

Wow, I have never been disappointed in Verge’s reporting. Andrew and Alix, and Phil, please look at the whole picture before reporting. I hardly ever comment on videos. I would drop everything in Seattle, stop my videography business, and go work at the factory if Elon wants. People don’t understand how hard it is to assemble atoms on this scale in a society that wants everything now—it’s destroying our souls. If we are going to survive as a species we need to make informed decisions that grasp the totality of the problem at hand. #NotAllFoxes but #NoTallFoxes

Shareholders voted to retain Musk as chairman with a super-majority... so not really "almost lost chairmanship", but sure okay Verge.

He must have gotten pissed off after Musk roasted him on Twitter 😂
