This decision to sidelined Iron Fist in his own show and gives his powers to Colleen. This decision is what got the show cancelled.

@ 2:32 he says, "So, how are we going to get to know this character until that's taken away" ... You have got to be freakin kidding me. You cannot get to know the character who is the Iron Fist until you take the Iron Fist away. That is why the story keeps failing in reviews. If you do not know how to make the character relatable, when the thing that makes him unique gives him such a deep dynamic, then you will not be able to make him relatable when you take away that one thing that makes him unique.
By the way, this is also not an original story, either. Danny fought someone who's personal goal it was, to take the power of the Iron Fist from him, in a comic written back in the 1980's.
This only prove these idiots are not decent story tellers. They spent all of season 1 telling us why Danny was such a relatable character. And now, they are saying he needs to be retread to become more or differently relatable. It just seems as though the creative development on this project hit a wall, and they simply do not know how to get around it.

Shocker the show is canceled.... So many bad story decisions made. What a let down to such a badass hero.

Wtf? This makes no dam sense. We already new who Danny Rand was and what he had to go through to get the iron fist... that was explained in season one... the fact that the “showrunner” wanted to showcase and focus that just shows a waste in the production company choosing him, a waste of a season worth of story and funding. And finally, the nail in the coffin to this franchise and we will not see a season three

Just pull the plug from this shit already ... I actually hope they move the shows to Disney streaming services and Netflix has to spend money on something better...

Transfer the iron fist to Colleen was not a good call. It’s like they’re slowly writing Danny rand off of his own show.

I hope Danny gets the iron fist back in season 3. I'm really not interested in Connie being Iron Fist. She is a bad ass character, but Danny Rand will always be my Iron Fist.

  • John Pyka's Tales From The Flip-Side!

I really want to see a Fearless Defenders series now. With Misty, Iron Fist Colleen, Hellcat/Trish Walker, and Mary Walker, the Moon Knight!

  • John Pyka's Tales From The Flip-Side!

The story arc of Danny Rand from season 1 Ep 1 to the final scene of season 2 was so rich and maybe the best of the entire MCU!

  • John Pyka's Tales From The Flip-Side!

Mary Walker is NOT Typhoid Mary, she is The Fist Of Konshu, Moon Knight!!!

wtf does Colleen even know about the Iron Fist...everything she knows about it she learnt it from danny.Danny has been training his whole life to be the iron fist only to give it to colleen? that's some stupid and poor writing right there. And on top of everything colleen training danny is the biggest slap in the face ever to iron fist fans. Next time please hire writers who actually give a crap about the character

When they showrunner tells you "I wanted to see the fight for the Iron Fist between Dann and Davos" wich simply doesnt happen in the entire season you realy understand why thus show is so utterly mediocre. I realy forced myself through this season and it just doesnt work. Starting with the super solder girl who has weeks to prepare her cunning plan to "jump into cover" when the Iron Fist is "ironfisting" and obviously defeats the titular hero with her genious aproach (if only the Hand would have come up with such a brilliant plan in the last hundreds of years). Dont get me started on how lowlevel Danny apeared to be and how idiotic it is to take away his powers early in the season just to have him limb around most time after that and even degrade him further by having him being retrained by someone he casually and easily defeated in Season 1, no Iron Fist nessesary. Joy must be the most annoying thing on TV since Ray Donovans family so leave it to Ward/Tom Palphrey to deliver the only performance worth a friggin damn. Also the ending is just retarded. Just plain retarded. But hearing the showrunner here I see where all of this is comming from.

Yeah, but, that doesn't explain how Danny, without the Iron Fist, goes looking for Orson Randall, and then, before he even finds Randall, Danny suddenly has his Iron Fist powers back and Orson's guns!?!
