That little growl Emily Blunt does when she says “music” is legit one of the sexiest things I’ve heard in a while.

Seeing Hand Drawn animation on the big screen again was truly magical in-of itself.

By the end of the animated sequence, I had two aching parts of my body: my leg from tapping my foot to the music and my face from the giant smile that was on it the entire time.

Just went to see it today with a friend, and all I can say is...WELCOME BACK DISNEY! I am actually shocked to hear that some people had walked out of this movie. Even if it's not entirely the same as the original, it's still a fantastic movie. In fact, I think it's my new favourite Disney Movie. Well done to all the actors, producers, writers, animators and song writers. You've done a fantastic job.

Mary Poppins creator P.L. Travers HATED the original Mary Poppins and is disgusted with Julie Andrews performance.I cannot speak for the late P.L. Travers. But I think Emily Blunt's performance fits her vision on who Mary Poppins is supposed to be.

Not bad to kickoff the animated sequence. It sure is exciting to have traditional hand drawn animation back on the big screen in almost a decade. And the original movie was perhaps the first time I ever appreciated how awesome it is to have live action characters in an animated background. So good song
