Sharpay and Ryan were the victims in this movie. The theater is their life then comes 2 nobodies, who have zero experience and don't care about the art at all, and stole the leads away from them. And yes, I am 25. I'll see myself out.
When the movie expects you to hate these characters, but you still like their version of the song better. Awkward
Troy and Gabriella at the back being salty af bc these two sang this better lmao
it always pissed me off when it cuts away to troy and gabriella's facial expressions?? ryan and sharpay's version was 100% better than there's, i don't know why they're laughing-
To be honest this is better than Troy and Gabriella singing this song
Pissed me off how true musical talents got bumped by jocks and nerds smh
I hear one or two people say 'well why are the siblings singing a love song'. You are missing the point and the genius of this song and consequently this part of the movie. We first see Sharpay and Ryan singing this song. For them it tells a story about a brother and a sister who are essentially best friends. The are still aloud to love each other. The audience at the time will assume this is the meaning of the song. Friendship. Later Troy and Gabriela have their take on the song and the audience get to watch as a song with the exact same lyrics is transformed from and so about best freinds to a song about true love. There is no right or wrong way of seeing the song. It is just a clever way of describing these two character relationships earlier on through song. Genius.
This version is so much fun! The beat, the choreography, everything! No offense to Gabriella and Troy but I'd much rather watch this in a musical than their dramatic af slow version.
These two were seriously my favourite and never hated them lol
I love how this song was supposed to be a romantic love song but when they sing it, it sounds like innocent love (family, friends, etc) song
That moment when you realise you prefer sharpay and ryan's version than gabriella and troy's
Kids that time: I love Gab at Troy Kids Grown up today: I love Sharpay and Ryan. They were the victim of stealing.
The fact that the musical tried to portray the THEATRE KIDS to be the mean kids makes me laugh. “Oh no! I’m being shamed with their BOX STEP!”
Imagine her and Rachel from glee auditioning for the same part or just being the same music class...it would be WAR
It's hard to believe that I couldn't see You were always there beside me Thought I was alone with no one to hold But you were always right beside me This feeling's like no other I want you to know I've never had someone that knows me like you do The way you do I've never had someone as good for me as you No one like you So lonely before I finally found What I've been looking for So good to be seen So good to be heard Don't have to say a word For so long I was lost So good to be found I'm lovin' having you around This feeling's like no other I want you to know I've never had someone that knows me like you do The way you do I've never had someone as good for me as you No one like you So lonely before I finally found What I've been looking for 自分用🙌この曲大好き！I like this song!💕
This version is better. Gabriella and Troy are just salty.
funny how i always preferred Sharpay and Ryan's version of this song over Troy and Gabriella's. The song's message translants way better as an upbeat jazzy number rather than the slow song it was meant to be.
2019 ? 👑👑👑
Apuesto que alguno de ustedes habla español... :'v Presentarse con un like !
I always thought that Sharpay and Ryan were the better performers. Their energy and stage presence blow anything Troy and Gabriella did out of the water.
