I think it’s more the fault of the script than anything, but this Mary felt very unhelpful and snotty whereas Julie Andrews’ Mary felt caring and sweet with just the right amount of sass and self confidence

Ocfan207 watch “saving Mr Banks” to learn ab that actually. Walt changed some things and it fits the og magic. this mary poppins doesn’t even match the original AT ALL. even the accent or look or a million things don’t match so

  • Ocfan207 1 months ago

Though unhelpful and snotty describes The original character from the books better than caring and sweet.

Congratulations. You've made it nearly to the peak of Hamilton puns, just wait for it and I'm sure you'll get your shot when you get there.I would make another Hamilton pun one last time before I post this comment, but my name isn't Alexander Hamilton and the world is wide enough for more people to make the Hamilton puns, And now it truly sickens me to know that someone will be back to do so but then again others might suck at it which means that they won't know what we know. But in all honesty, I ...

Dick Van Dyke is over 90 years old, and he can still do his lines well and preform a little throwback jig. What an absolute legend.

@MsUn PC Well, he used to be a heavy smoker so he doesn't look young because of his lifestyle. It's just his genes. Some people are just born that way.

2 sins to you for sinning a realistic old-time London environment and the joy that is cockney rhyming slang.

  • TxSonofLiberty 2 days ago

@PowerToolsofJustice Not quite true... Frog & Toad IS Cockney Rhyming Slang for Cross the road, as stated when the children get home from in the fog.

  • PowerToolsofJustice 20 days ago

Actually all the Cockney rhyming slang was made up for the movie. Although it is a real thing.

"Not one single shot in this movie has shown a London sky that is pretty or even 'not ugly.'"So you mean it's being accurate?

  • Kandice M an hour ago

Yeah....its accurate for sure lol. Flipping bipolar weather, even if it remotely looks inviting outside, its deceptive and you end up freezing your ass off.

@Doris Fromage THAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK YOU! (Jesus some people just think every else is ugly. The only thing that's weird is the gerkin. It's name is so strange.)
