The Japanese don’t try to scam you. If they invite you for tea or something, take them up on it..... they just want to practice their English or want to be a good host.

I am Chinese, born in Shanghai. I need to say that alll those situations this gent mentioned in this video are legitimately true and even local citizens suffered from this, so please dont take us as being hostile to foreigners. I don't know much about other cities, but such situations should be comparatively less in Beijing and Shanghai. Also I think the fact that most chinese like to cheat is due to the lack of family teaching, since most parents themselves are super greedy and snobby. But I'd say suc...

+Charles Wallerdiemont I believe there is. Because those in Hong Kong were under British rule they are more western orientated, but the ones in China they think they are the best people in the world ... I can't really see their claim to fame since they have not done anything that is original as far as I am concern .. always cheat and then put a stamp on it and call it your own.

+xiaolei xiao We do understand China and Chinese People alright ... you are the biggest cheaters ever and snobby with it too.

My English friend spent seven months in a Chinese jail because his Chinese girlfriend entrapped him to buy her some weed. He never does drugs, but she was really insistent. When he eventually got the weed for her, she said she had to leave his apartment for a bit. As soon as she left about ten police bust down the door and arrested him. He is a big softy. If he didn't understand Chinese he said he would've lost his mind. 16 guys in a tiny cramped cell... Turns out his girlfriend did it to get a month o...

+Chinglish A Chinese woman can use me anytime they want. As long as it's at home and not in China. I would like to go there one day though. In all seriousness, China has some lush scenery. And I'm talking about the natural kind. Not the kind in mini-skirts hanging round on street corners.

Yeah, I fell for the 2 "students" and tea house routine. Walked to tea house - host showed pricing (300RMB ea (47.61USD at the time)) Lucky for me, I'm not a stupid or naïve traveler (always carry a fake wallet (with an expired Driver's license & credit card plus minimal cash) specifically for robbery - but it works for scams too. I agreed to the 300RMB. Both girls decided to "buy" tins of tea. When bill was presented, they asked how I wanted to split it up. I told them I'd pay ...
