1000s of volunteers and in the end she saved herself. Jayme is her own hero.

No one found her she did everything for her. She escaped.

  • She was not held hostage. Hostage is when the criminal is seeking fulfillment of a agreement and is holding the child until his demands are ment. She was held captive. Which is being held as a prisoner

Conker well...if someone ever does something to you, we’ll let the cops just wait for you to save yourself, since they don’t do anything.

They didn’t find her. She escaped??

  • blue puppy 5 months ago

@Venom That is just a very negative thing to even be thinking. I bet lots of those cops thought about her a lot. Most of them are people too.

  • Venom 5 months ago

Thank god for these comments telling who really deserves the credit, but I’m just happy this girl is safe but she is going to need lots of therapy

    Faithless.

  • Jason Khanlar 5 months ago

More like the person speaking in the video needs therapy to better reflect upon nonimaginary beings such as humans, who are capable of resiliently sustaining themselves and worthy of the credit to be thanked for

  • They did not save her; she saved herself. They are praising themselves for actions that did not contribute to her survival. It’s cringey!

They're thanking volunteers and officers who spent their time trying to find Jayme and putting all the clues together, they are thanking the people who turned in suspicous stuff that could've related to Jayme going missing. If you were out there volunteering day and night you would have thought differently. She couldn't walk herself back to Barron from where she was located, it was an hour away if you took a car."Thank you Jayme for saving yourself, no one else helped you and volunteers were ...

For all their efforts, law enforcement did NOT find Jayme Closs. Jayme Closs — a 13-year-old child on her own, held captive under duress for three months — without assistance, escaped her captor, made her way to a nearby house, identified herself to the couple there, calmly instructed them to call 911, and in so doing singlehandedly saved herself. Full stop.

  • No she found a lady walking her dog and told who she was and needed help. They then went to a near by house and the lady told the man to call 911. Yes she saved her self by escaping. But she did not go to a house and see a couple.

@Dat Piggy wasnt a nice way to put it at all. He looks at it from a realistic POV and from a few opinions he made anonymously on the internet you want him to not have kids

@The Unspoiled Princess Where's your proof that they were searching for three months and not just sitting behind a computer screen?Let me guess, you're just taking their word right?Take my word, they gave up after the first week.
