I pulled $40 out of my Wells Fargo account to buy weed. They should be investigated for drug trafficking.

+Mark Oliver Walsh That would work but many big firms, like WF, lobby to pass regulations and laws that are favorable to them or will hurt their competition much more than it'll hurt them. I'm not defending AOC ,I just think they both are terrible people

+NeoFryBoy There is one and only one social responsibility of business – to use its resources and engage in activities designed to increase its profits so long as it stays within the rules of the game, which is to say, engages in open and free competition without deception or fraud

  • Miguel castro kohler (2 days ago)

These hearings are a waste, no one ever goes to prison, they get "embarrased" on national TV, woopty freeking doo

  • Miguel castro kohler (15 hours ago)

+John Tate huh? who cares if you think she got embarrased or not, thats not the point Im making, the point is there is no accountability, period. Geez trolls need to go back to school and brush up on reading comprehension

  • John Tate (16 hours ago)

Miguel castro kohler A. O. C. was the one that got embarrassed in this exchange. Jeez she is STUPID

Now the left says you’re a criminal if you do business with customers that have different political views than theirs.

  • Myname8315 (2 days ago)

brunojake099 point she’s trying to get at is to loan responsibly. There are banks out there especially the newer ones that pride themselves on never investing in fossil fuels. Js

+Ernny De leon aww that's cute cunt. You actually think women's opinions actually matter. You should be happy we allow you to breathe the same us men do. Women were put on the planet for 2 things, 1 to do what they are told, 2 to be sperm sponges.

  • Ernny De leon (5 days ago)

Darrin Crose wow an amazing insult! it’s funny how you had to go back and edit this comment because you couldn’t even get it grammatically correct the first time :( but yeah I’m the idiot... and of course, no good explanation to why your view point is correct just stating whatever you believe and apparently everyone should think the same or anyone who thinks differently is an idiot.... yikes if that’s the case you’re a part of a very huge problem in this country...

I think the problem she's trying to convey is that through financing (Wells Fargo ect) projects that contain a known environmental risk (based on previous failures) Wells Fargo shifts the environmental risk of such an investment to the companies that build them.Makes sense, until you realize that the company's that build them shift it to the operators, then the operators shift them to smaller bottom feeding companies before the environmental bomb blows up in their shareholders faces. Then when the tim...

+Martijn Denecker yupp, he did briefly mention an environmental oversight committee

  • nemesis408 (17 hours ago)

+Jerry From The Block "the incarceration of an absurd amount of black people that work for cents per hour for the private prison industry"Please provide the evidence/proof that only black people are incarcerated to work at 'cents per hour' and we will stand together against it."What im trying to say is, that legality is not equal to morality, we need to change the legal framework to move forward."Agreed. This is how you force Wells Fargo to move forward in the direction you ...

Think about this, more people would have worked at the New York amazon plant then voted for her.

  • King David (55 minutes ago)

    than*, pls, than*

  • Jarvid Videodram (1 day ago)

It wasn't a plant, it was a HQ that would have mostly software devs working on AWS, not working class jobs . Also Amazon hasn't stopped hiring the same amount of people NY, because they own plenty of office space in NY. They wanted billions to build a fancy new office with a helipad

Money grows on trees... Why do you think banks have branches... -AOC

  • Elizabeth Heilman (6 days ago)

AOC: “WHY was the bank involved in the caging of children?”

  • dru70292 (1 day ago)

+Simon Bjørndal how about people stop breaking the law then all the prions would go out of business. Lmao you talk about responsibility what about the responsibility of all the people who are in prison to not break the law?

  • dru70292 (1 day ago)

+Simon Bjørndal there are no physical cages you realize that right? Also what if a child murders someone do we let them go because they are a child? All these kids broke the law.
