The mid 2000s was a hell of a time to be from Texas. Dallas, Houston and San Antonio were all making some serious noise around the league

Dirk is one of the most under appreciated players in NBA history.

  • Juice & Jrock (Feb 11, 2019)

You’re right dirk doesn’t get enough praise for being the change in the nba on how bigs play dirk is one of the best pf ever yet dirk still doesn’t get the respect as the other stars cause his game isn’t flashy

  • Walter James (Feb 8, 2019)

  • Ambi Dextrose (Feb 11, 2019)

If he kept healthy through his career, he would be in the GOAT category.

  • PunkSkaful (Mar 21, 2018)

53 pts with only one 3pt shot made.... where do you see that on today´s nba?

  • SimulationFromHell (Dec 2, 2016)

Back when the NBA was competitive and every star had their own team

  • Enrique Merino (Feb 10, 2019)

Correct! They used to have a balance making games fun to watch

  • Andre macklin (Oct 12, 2018)

afrikan08 back then most teams had a one/two punch or a big three. If not they had an all star leading the team. Not the case in the league now.

+THOR GOD OF THUNDER you made this section awkward with your comment 😕

  • blazon1982 (Aug 31, 2018)

Not sure how that's your takeaway from my statement. The point is that I hate the nuthugging Ximo gets for doing it. It's really easy to do, but most of us (including me) don't have the time or software. I obviously appreciate the content itself, or I wouldn't be here.

    Dirk 53 points 16 rebounds 3 steals 4 blocks.Who says Dirk didn't play defense?

  • j k (1 day ago)

I'd take Lebron. He has won 5 defensive first teams and 1 defensive 2nd team.Dirk won 0 defensive awards in NBA and in FIBA.
